Bashtovë Fortress "Albanian:Kalaja e Bashtovës" is a post close to the town of Vilë-Ballaj, today an authoritative piece of Gosë, district of Rrogozhinë, west-focal Albania. It is geologically arranged close to the correct banks of Shkumbin River. History specialist Gjerak Karaiskaj has dated the working amid the fifteenth century, as developed by the Republic of Venice. However Alain Ducellier has stated that the Venetians have worked over a current previous structure which goes back to the sixth century, when the region was under the Byzantine Empire, amid the Justinian line. Previously, the Boshtovë district was referred to as an exchange harbor and as an inside for the fare of grains. The stronghold has a rectangular shape, 60 by 90 meters (200 by 300 ft). The western piece of the fortification was remade in the eighteenth century. Its dividers are 9 meters (30 ft) high.
